Well, scents are very personal and subjective. Lavender may be a classic scent, but some are just turned off by it. Goes the same for food - you may like Chicken Rice, but other may dislike eating Chicken Rice!

The perspective of a scent varies with individual. I can describe a scent as sweet, or fresh, or minty, or woody - but ultimately each of us perceive it differently which kind of makes it inaccurate if you don't try the scents on your own.
